Eddy Current Separators (ECS) allow effective separation of non-ferrous metals.
Eddy Current Separators or ECS utilise powerful magnets to separate valuable non-ferrous metals such as Aluminium, Brass & Copper from different waste types.
Eriez hold over 40 years of experience developing Eddy Current Separators and have defined the following 5 designs to suit a full range of Recycling applications including; MSW, Glass Cullet, RDF, Woodchip, PET Flake, IBA, WEE and more.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
ECS use Eddy Current induction and magnetic repulsion to “throw” non-ferrous conductive metals from a moving conveyor belt a shown in the operational video link below:
